If you've ever needed us to do any work done on your website, or recently had our company do your website you have probably met our resident designer Kevin Copeland. Kevin has been with Drake Hardware & Software for nine months.

He was hired shortly after finding out his wife was pregnant with their first child. On March 31st 2008 at 2:25 am, weighing 7lbs. 10ozs and 19 ¾", a beautiful baby girl, Grace Abigail Copeland was born. Kevin and his wife Tabitha are very proud and more than a little tired.

Kevin is a 2003 graduate of Southeastern Community College with a degree in Graphic Communications. After graduating from SCC, Kevin did a tour in Iraq with the 224th Engineer Battalion. He is now continuing his education, working on his Bachelors Degree part-time at Western Illinois University. Although he goes to school, he still works a full week at Drake trying his best to complete new websites and updating the existing ones.

His job at Drake is quite extensive. Not only does he create and design web sites but extends his talents into print design as well. He also can help with clients e-mail issues including setting-up new e-mail accounts. Kevin is also responsible for tracking our clients hosting and domain name renewal dates to keep their websites up. You can see some of Kevin's work at the TurnKey Creations website, which is a division of Drake Hardware & Software.

Our designer enjoys helping the clients that always seem to need something done. "Even though Dana and Jeff sign my paycheck, it's our clients that pay them," he says as he sits at his computer working on another website. "Websites are growing more and more important for businesses as the internet grows. Anyone can make a site, but a true online marketing piece takes thought, planning, and some know-how." Kevin goes on to say that a company's online presence says a lot to a potential customer. "It's my job to give our clients a tool that they are proud of and promotes their business well."
