LCD Cleaning Tips You've been using your new laptop or flat panel monitor for a few months and your getting tired of those fingerprints all over your lcd screen? You go to reach for your glass cleaner and... STOP! LCD (liquid crystal display) is not glass, and you should not use a glass cleaner on it. So what do you use?To clean a lcd screen we recommend using a soft cotton cloth. If a dry cloth does not completely clean the screen you may apply rubbing alcohol to the cloth and wipfe the screen with the damp cloth. Rubbing alcohol is actually used to clean the screen before it leaves the factory. Remember, do not spray any liquids directly onto the LCD and never use a paper towel as it may cause the LCD to become scratched. |
