As many have heard, Drake Hardware & Software along with The New Mix 107.3 have been hosting a student of the week contest. The contest is open to the students in your life (traditional or non-traditional). The reason the student is nominated could be based on academics, achievements, sports, grades, and/or talents. This could also be for volunteer work, helping family, and helping friends beyond the call of life.

The winner last Fall was Alle Lozano of Fort Madison.
